Lake County School History

This book, with over 700 photographs, recounts the history of education in Lake County, Montana, from 1910 to the present with meticulous attention to details of coping with education's beginnings in the area with the Salish, Kootenai and Pend d'Oreille peoples teaching their children to live, then the arrival of the Black Robes in the mid-1800s, and finally in the public schools once the Flathead Reservation was opened to settlement.
